Kohima DPDB recommends three societies for registration

The monthly meeting of Kohima District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) was held at DPDB’s Conference Hall Kohima on February 15. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman DPDB Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant IAS in the presence of MLA Tsielhoutuo Rhütso, informed DIPR.

The meeting reviewed the last meeting minutes and took up the agenda on registration of new societies, where the board decided to recommend the following societies to the government for further action: Padah Society, Mohonkhola Near Vineyard School, New Minister’s Hill, H/No. 106; Khatso Natso Women Society, Jakhama Village Khatso Natso Khel and Nagaland Rhododendron Society Jakhama Town Chüchorü H/ No. 67. While for the registration of the ‘Green the World Keyake P. Khel Keyake Sector No. 095’, the board decided that more clarification on its activities and objective will be required for further action.

On the agenda of ‘Change of Nomenclature from Silas Memorial School to Mezhur High’, the house decided to recommend it to the concerned authority since all the necessary criteria were found to be fulfilled and made available to the board.

In connection with the forthcoming 18th Lok Sabha Election 2024, DC reminded the Heads of Offices who are yet to submit the updated incumbency list and vehicle list to submit it in both soft and hard copy to the DC & DEO’s Office, Kohima at the earliest.

Regional Transport Officer (RTO) and District Forest Officer were entrusted to give PowerPoint presentation on its departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.
