The Kohima Excise Special Task Force has arrested one person on possession of suspected heroin drugs on October 18.

Acting on a tip-off about  a  possible  trafficking  of  suspected  Heroin  drugs  in  an  around  Kohima Town  area, the  Kohima  Excise  Special  Task  Force on October 18 at  around 12:40 pm raided  a  hotel  located  at  Old  NST.

A press release by Deputy Commisioner of Excise (Zonal) informed that one person identified as Laivini  Thomas  24yrs  S/O  Loni  was apprehended for  possessing  9  soap  cases  of  suspected  Heroin  drugs  weighing  approx-115  grams.

In  this  connection  a  case  has  been  registered  U/S  21 (b) of NDPS  Act  1985.
