The Nagaland GIS & Remote Sensing Centre organized a GIS & Drone Technology Exposure Programme for the school children and staff of Government Middle School Chüziema, Kohima with the aim to introduce participants to the practical applications of this new technology and promote their understanding of its potential uses.
Sanen Longkumer (Data Manager) gave a presentation on the applications of GIS technology in today’s modern world while UAV Division head Kethorietuo Kesiezie along with UAV assistant Pendao Merry explained about the importance and applications of Drone Technology in different fields.
The Technology Exposure Programme received a positive response from both the school children and staff of GMS Chüziema (Thizama) in Kohima. The participants expressed enthusiasm and curiosity about the technology and its potential applications.
Overall, the programme served as a stepping stone in expanding the knowledge and awareness of GIS and drone technology among the participants, contributing to their personal growth and providing a foundation for future exploration in the field.
