The PRO Kohima Police today informed that personnel at Kuzama Police Check gate caught one person on possession of suspected heroin.

On November 5, during a routine checking of vehicles, personnel of Khuzama Police check gate detected and recovered 110 soap cases of suspected heroin weighing approximately 1560 gms. The drugs were concealed in a dumper truck coming from the neighbouring state of Manipur. The accused Md. Shahjahan (27 yrs) has been arrested in this connection, informed the PRO.
