In two separate incidents, the Kohima Police’s prompt action let to the recovery of a missing bike and a vehicle, and the arrest of one accused.
A press release release issued by the PRO, Kohima Police informed that on May 12, a complaint was received about stolen bike at North Police Station. Based on the complaint, prompt action was initiated by North PS party led by Dy. SP (Prob) Sara Tokiu to recover the stolen motor bike. The team swiftly tracked down the suspected person through intelligence inputs and was able to apprehend him from Pherima area. Accordingly, a criminal case was registered at North PS vide Case No. 0025/2025 U/S 303(2) BNS 2023.

Subsequently, on the same day another complaint was received about a missing vehicle from Lower Bayavü Colony, Kohima. Kohima Police in a concerted effort activated all its units and immediately swung into action and recovered the said vehicle from Razhü Point area, informed the press release.
The press release commended the team work and camaraderie of the officers in the swift execution of their relentless duties.
