Kohima Police has issued a traffic advisory in view of the public rally called by the Angami Public Organisation (APO) with all tribal units at Kohima on 9th April 2025 at Old MLA Hostel Junction, Kohima.
The SP Office has stated that the following traffic regulations would be enforced from 8:00 am until the completion of the rally. Kohima Police advised citizens to plan their routes accordingly and requested their cooperation and support.
Traffic Diversion
- Down-going vehicles (towards High School/Secretariat) shall be diverted via TCP Gate – Hospital Jn. – Census Point.
- Up-coming vehicles (towards PHQ) shall be diverted via Razhü Point – Naga Bazaar.
- Staff Buses (going to Secretariat/Directorate) shall be diverted via TCP Gate – T-Khel Model Road.
No-Parking Zone
The road stretch from TCP Gate to Y-Junction Phoolbari will be declared No-Parking Zone.
The Angami Public Organisation (APO) with all the tribal units at Kohima has called for a public rally in Kohima on 9th April 2025 (Wednesday) in protest against the Indo-Myanmar Border Fencing and its related issues. The rally will begin from 10:00 am, APO informed.
