Kohima: VC urges electorates to follow rules and conducts of ‘Clean Election’

The Kohima Village Council (KVC) has urged all eligible electorates whose names are enlisted in the electoral roll to compulsorily cast their votes on 19th April 2024 (Friday) to elect the most competent leader to Lok Sabha.

In its press release, KVC reaffirmed to stand by its earlier resolution for conduct of ‘Clean Election’ on the jurisdiction of Kohima village.

“The KVC issue this resolute information with request to all the electorate of various polling stations lying within its traditional jurisdiction to perform the electoral system with the “Clean Election” rules and conducts on the polling day of the election,” it stated.

The village council also cautioned that it would not hesitate to take stern disciplinary action against any individual or group or any political party found indulging in any electoral malpractice, against the principles of ‘Clean Election’.
