Kohima Village hosts 30th Spero Meliora: LSU emerges as overall champion

The 30th Spero Meliora was held in Kohima Village on August 11, 2024, at Kohima Village Council Hall Kohima, under the theme, “Break the Ice and Steal the March.”

A formal inauguration program was held in the morning followed by various competitions among students from the four Khels of Kohima village namely Tsiituonuomia Khel, Dapfiitsumia Khel, Pfuchatsumia Khel and Lhisemia Khel.

The result of the competition are as follows:

  • Solo singing: 1st: Kethonuo Sekhose; 2nd:Avibou Belho; 3rd: Seyievinuo Belho
  • Debate: 1st: Kekhrievor Dzüvichü; 2nd: Thejasenuo Belho; 3rd: Seyiephrenuo Rutsa
  • Cultural Song: 1st: DSU; 2nd: LSU
  • Solo Instrumental: 1st: Vizolenuo Keretsü; 2nd: Ruovituonuo Kesiezie; 3rd: Seyiesanuo Kire
  • Essay Writing (English): 1st Sedekhonuo Vizo; 2nd Keduovinuo Sorhie; 3rd Mengusenuo Belho

The event came to a successful conclusion with LSU as the overall champion.
