The National People’s Party (NPP) handed over its party ticket for 9 Kohima town AC to intending candidate Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhütso, Managing Director of KOHIMAS Hospital, on 4 February in Dimapur.

In a thanksgiving and prayer programme held at Kohima on Sunday, Dr. Rhütso shared his vision with the gathering and urged the people to work together for the betterment of society.

Calling on the youths, he urged them to give him the opportunity so that they can work with the ideas of the people and hoped to be a voice of the people if given the chance.

Vice president-cum-advisor of NPP, Kohima, Dr. Ketholezo Sorünuo, in his speech shared, words of encouragement to the supporters and urged the candidate to give his best, set an example and lead the people.

He urged on the need for abled leaders at this juncture and cited that Nagaland being a Christian state should set an example practically and not verbally.
