The 7th Edition of the Kuki Students’ Organisation, Nagaland (KSON) Sports meet came to a close at Khelma-Sailhem Village, Peren District on January 27, informed the DIPR.
Under the theme “Progressing Together”, the event was graced by Managing Director, Singvung Construction & Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd, L. Alex as the Special Guest and BDO Ahthibung Block, Peren, Noklen Jamir as the Guest of Honour.
Ahthibung YSU earned the Overall Champion Trophy with 5 golds, 2 silvers and 1 Bronze while the Best Discipline Unit went to Pellhang YSU. Lilen YSU defeated Bungsang YSU in Football via tie break.

Bungsang YSU cemented their dominance in Men’s Volleyball for four consecutive meets defeating Molvom YSU in a thriller of a final and Ahthibung YSU defeated Vongkithem YSU in Women’s Volleyball to top off a successful sports meet.
The prizes of the sports meet were given away by the Special Guest, Guest of Honour, and other esteemed guests.
