Lakhuti Students’ Union requests for School closure in response to LMRSU directive

The Lakhuti Students Union’ has today requested for the closure of schools in response to Lotha Middle Range Students’ Union (LMRSU) directive.

In a letter, the LkSU noted that the directive comes from the recent development that piqued the attention of Lotha Middle Range students Union due to the repeated false assurance given by the contractors to Lotha Middle Range general public and LMRSU with regard to upgradation of Sanis to Lakhuti Road construction under PMGSY-II.

Extending its unwavering support to the LMRSU, the Union stated, “While envisaging the need for a strong co-operation the union also believes that extending the right support to LMRSU now can help improve the current situation while envisioning promising foreseeable future. Henceforth, in pursuance of the aforementioned directive, we kindly request your esteemed institutions to extend your cooperation by temporarily ceasing operations from the 18th of March 2024 until further communications. We acknowledge the importance of education and your institutions’ integral role in shaping the minds of our younger generation for a better tomorrow. However, given the gravity of the situation and the imperative need for collective action, we implore you to stand in solidarity with our cause.”
