Langpangkong Students’ Conference urge citizens to prioritize ‘clean election’ in ULB polls

Mokokchung: LKM says it anticipates women’s involvement in ULBs will bring about significant and positive transformations

The Langpangkong Students’ Conference (LKM) has called on the citizens of Langpangkong in Mokokchung district and all Nagas across Nagaland to “prioritize clean election and vote truthfully” in the forthcoming elections to the urban local bodies “to uphold integrity and transparency in our electoral processes.”

LKM President Imlinok and General Secretary Meyitongpang encouraged Councils, youths, students, and various societies to actively participate and engage in the electoral process, “To drive success for the Naga people and promote positive change through “CLEAN ELECTION”’. It added that by working collectively, “we can pave the way for a brighter tomorrow for generations to come.”

In its ‘Announcement’, the student body extended its “heartfelt prayers” to all the candidates running in the upcoming ULB elections and “especially acknowledge and celebrate the participation of the first women candidates, anticipating that their involvement will bring about significant and positive transformations.”

The Langpangkong Students’ Conference urged all to stand united in support of ‘clean election’, integrity, and progress for Nagas. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and strive towards a more inclusive and prosperous future, LKM stated.
