The Department of Education at Livingstone Foundation International (LFI) College organized the ‘We Care Program-2’ on March 20 as an ongoing departmental activity. The department visited the ‘Ebenezer Orphanage Home,’ where 19 children from different parts of the state reside, informed a press release by the college.

“Interacting with the children and understanding their circumstances can cultivate empathy and compassion towards those who are less fortunate. Witnessing their challenges firsthand can foster a greater understanding of the struggles others may face,” stated the press release.

The owner, Akum Amri, and his family oversee the home, providing special provisions such as free education, various training programs, and activities for the children up to the X standard since its establishment in 2005. Ten students and three faculty members participated in the program. The visit commenced with a short prayer fellowship and interaction with the children, followed by the distribution of provisions for their needs on behalf of the college department. The event concluded successfully with a final prayer.
