The Guest of Honor in his speech quoted, “You are the master of your fate. You are the architect of your life. You are the one behind the steering wheel.” He encouraged the freshers and the students to broaden their minds and come out of their comfort zones. He emphasized on three important life principles- Responsibility, Never give excuses, and Never complain.
Er. Mongkum further elaborated that responsibility, broken down into simpler terms, means response and ability i.e., the ability to respond to any challenges. He also stated that no matter what challenges come in one’s way, one must maintain the attitude of never giving excuses and in the pursuit of one’s goals. He quoted “Never complain, never explain” by Henry Ford and urged the students to take challenges as opportunities.
Er Mongkum challenged the young minds to not only dive into the government sector but also to venture into the private sector and give back to the society. He encouraged the freshers to make use of the college to the fullest with united spirit, celebrating the differences and embracing diversity.
