The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Livingstone Foundation International College, Dimapur, successfully concluded a special camp on Saturday at the adopted village of Murise in Chümoukedima district. Special camping is an integral part of the NSS, holding a special appeal to the youth as it offers unique opportunities for group living, collective experience sharing, and constant interaction with the community.

The camp featured educational dialogues with the locals, exposure sessions between students and village elders, emphasizing the importance of contributing to society, in line with the NSS motto ‘Not Me But You’.

As part of the camp activities, the NSS unit facilitated the donation of food distribution and dustbins for twenty households in Murise village. Additionally, two large dustbins were provided for the church and village hall in Murise. NSS-related activities and morning exercises were conducted throughout the camp duration.

On the last day, a picnic and gathering were organized to commemorate the successful completion of the NSS Special Camp.
