The Children Education Department, Liangmai Baptist Association is organising the 10th Children’s Festival at Liangmai Baptist Church, New Jalukie in Peren district. The fest commenced on 9th January 2024 under the theme “Bear Much Fruit” and will culminate at 11th January 2024.

Rev Kitanwi Chewang, Executive Secretary, LBA and Azanuo Viluo Ciesotsu, Child Director, ABCC are the speakers at the Liangmai Children’s Festival which is being participated by 780 children, DIPR informed in a report.

In the inaugural function, Rev Chewang advised children to avoid any intoxicating substances as it drifts them away from the blessings of God. He said that children should be allowed to sing, dance and pray as it helps them grow in God. Further, Rev Chewang encouraged the children to learn from the lives of Samuel and Samson and challenged them to have hearts of repentance and conviction.
