Lions Club Kohima convened a productive meeting at the Kohima Lions Club Service Centre on Thursday in line with the Lions International Peace Poster Competition for the 2025-2026 session.
The club’s commitment to promoting peace and creativity among students through the peace poster competition was also highlighted. This annual event invites students to participate, with winners progressing to state, national, and international levels.
The meeting led by Oken Jeet Sandham, President of Lions Club Kohima, also discussed various other key agenda items. These included preparations for the District Governor’s visit, the eye hospital project in Kohima, induction of new members, tree plantation initiatives among others.
Earlier, the Lions Club flag salutation was administered by SP Francis, underscoring the club’s commitment to their values and mission.

The club’s members included Max Marius Menuse-O, Ketoukholie Whuorie and Er Talitemsu Jamir who also participated in the District Governor’s 1st Zonal Advisory Committee meeting online.
