Lions Club of Dimapur Elite launches Hunger Relief Project to serve the needy

In a compassionate display of community service, the Lions Club of Dimapur Elite launched its first Hunger Relief Project at the Gurudwara on Kalibari Road, Dimapur on July 18. The initiative brought together club members in a united effort to serve freshly prepared meals to the underprivileged, ensuring that no one in need went hungry that day.

The project was spearheaded by Project Chairperson, Lion Prity Jain.

The Club said the meal distribution effort was not just an act of charity but a reflection of the club’s deep-rooted mission to serve with dignity, empathy, and commitment.

The leadership of the newly established club includes Charter President, Lion Meena Sethi, Charter Secretary, Lion Prernaa Maheswarri, and Charter Treasurer, Lion Sakchi Jain, each playing a vital role in organizing and mobilizing support for this meaningful initiative.

Rooted in the core values of service, unity, and empowerment, the Lions Club of Dimapur Elite has made a promising start with this inaugural outreach program.

Members have expressed their resolve to continue such efforts through a series of impactful initiatives aimed at uplifting lives and promoting well-being in the region.
