Lions Club of Dimapur Elite organized a dental awareness and screening camp at St Mary’s Higher Secondary School, engaging students, parents, teachers, and club members in a proactive initiative to promote oral health.
The program was graced by VDG & Principal of St Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Lion Dr Neena Dutta, and Administrator of Lions Club of Dimapur & St Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Lion Prateek Dutta, highlighting the importance of oral health awareness among the youth.
The session featured Dr Arihant Jain (BDS, MDS, FAGE, FWFO), Consultant Orthodontist & Dentofacial Orthopedician, as the keynote speaker. Dr Arihant Jain emphasized the significance of maintaining proper dental hygiene and preventive care for long-term oral health.
Supporting the screening camp was a dedicated team of dental professionals which included Dr Vezita Lohe (BDS), Consultant Dental Surgeon; Dr Roshni Rai (BDS), Consultant Dental Surgeon; and Dr Limayanger Jamir (BDS, MDS), Consultant Endodontist.

The initiative was organized under the leadership of Club President, Lion Meena Sethi, with Project Chairperson, Lion Sakshi Binaykia leading the planning and execution of the camp.
The camp included dental check-ups and screenings for students, helping identify early dental issues and providing guidance on proper oral care.
Lions Club of Dimapur Elite reiterated that the camp aligns with the club’s mission to promote community health and well-being. By creating awareness and providing accessible dental screening, the Club aims to instill lifelong habits of dental hygiene among students and families.
