As per the same resolution, Whommo was earlier penalized by the Pathso Village Gaon Buras with a sum of Rs 30,000 at the Pathso Village GB’s Court on April 24, 2020 for violating the resolution. His wife, T Themshao was also fined by the Pathso Village Gaon Buras with a sum of Rs 30,000 at the Pathso Village GB’s Court on April 1, 2019 for a similar violation.

The Village Council and Gaon Buras had issued a strong warning to both individuals at that time, stating that any further violations would result in expulsion from the village. The current case has now been handed over to the appropriate law enforcement authorities for necessary legal action.

The Pathso Rescue Task Force has urged all members of the public to refrain from spreading misinformation and to remain alert and cooperative in maintaining law and order in the village.
