Longest Bike Rally across India: India Book of Records felicitates 12-member joint team

In a special felicitation ceremony held in Dimapur, the India Book of Records honored a 12-member riding team comprising personnel from the Assam Rifles, Indian Army, and civilian participants for accomplishing the longest bike rally across India.

The remarkable expedition covered over 4,300 kilometres, beginning from Vijaynagar in Arunachal Pradesh and concluding at the Rann of Kutch in Gujarat. The journey spanned nine states and diverse terrains, showcasing grit, endurance, and national unity.

Organized as part of the Shaurya Yatra, the rally aimed to promote the spirit of adventure, national integration, and civil-military cooperation under the theme “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”. The team passed through key cities including Jairampur, Dimapur, Siliguri, Patna, Varanasi, Gwalior, Udaipur, Ahmedabad, and Bhuj.

During the ceremony, representative from the India Book of Records formally acknowledged the historic achievement.

Assam Rifles stated that the recognition stands as a proud testament to the Armed Forces’ unwavering commitment to national integration and their enduring legacy of excellence beyond operational duties.
