The Longleng District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on June 12 at DPDB hall Longleng, under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB, Longleng Dharam Raj, IAS, informed DIPR.

The meeting commenced with a self-introduction by the new members- Sutemo Kikon, E.E Water Resources and Konlong Phom, Branch Manager, Nagaland State Cooperative Bank, (NSCB) Longleng. Welcoming all officers, the DC urged the members to bring their departmental agendas for discussion in the next meeting.

After the review of the last meeting minutes, agendas for renewal of Yingli Community Development Society and Phom Day Commission was discussed and forwarded for approval by the concern department.

The House also discussed and deliberated on the proposal submitted by DPRO Longleng, for the establishment of Assistant Public Relation Office (APRO) at ADC Headquarter, Tamlu and Information Centre at Sakshi EAC Headquarter, the House agreed to recommend the proposal and forward to the Government for further necessary action. The Cultural Officer Longleng presented the departmental activities in the meeting. The Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services Longleng, was assigned to present the Departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.
