Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to promoting youth-centric development and strengthening rural infrastructure across the state. He said that the government is working relentlessly to promote and invest in the talented youth of Nagaland, particularly in the fields of sports and the arts.
As part of this vision, he cited the recent inauguration of 13 Futsal grounds and two multipurpose halls, including a separate one in Zubza.
He emphasized that in order to create equal opportunities for youngsters across the state, the government continues to provide platforms for exposure and growth. Referring to recent cultural showcases in Japan and Russia, Rio noted that it has become increasingly clear that the world is eager to experience the richness of Nagaland’s traditions and the beauty of its land and people.
During the inaugural programme of the T Sentichuba Amphitheatre at Mongsenyimti Village under
Mokokchung district, which he addressed virtually, the Chief Minister called on the people of
Mongsenyimti and the wider 24th Angetyongpang Assembly Constituency to continue supporting the present leadership and the government so that more developmental initiatives can be implemented in the region.
In a major announcement, CM Rio informed that, based on the request of Advisor Tongpang Ozukum, the state government has approved the upgrading of roads to Yaongyimti Old and Yaongyimti New
