The Lotha Hoho has banned the video “What happened at Tokhu Emong” and urged its producer ‘The Roving Naga’ to “immediately remove the video from all media, within three days/latest by 15th November 2024 and to identify himself/herself/themselves, to the viewers.”

The apex Lotha organisation stated that the YouTube video is an insult to the community and presents a wrong depiction of Tokhu Emong.

The Lotha Hoho acknowledged the “rowdy side of the merry making” and that “such episodes normally take place in occasions”, “though happening in logical sequence of tolerable admixture.” “But if such rowdy items are collected and produced as a “conglomerate whole”, the depiction becomes erroneous and the purpose becomes perverted and even defamed,” it stated.

The organisation has therefore banned the video “What happened at Tokhu Emong” and asked the producer “The Roving Naga” to reveal itself. The Lotha Hoho will take suitable follow up action depending on the response of the producer concerned (the Roving Naga), it added.
