Lotha Students’ Union fixes common tuition fee structure

Wokha: Intake of students for normal tuition should not exceed more than 10 Students per Batch/Session

The Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) has fixed a common tuition fee structure in Wokha District.

President Lirhonthung E Kithan and Education & Statistics Secretary Nyanthung M Khuvung informed that the fee for home tuition should not exceed Rs 3000 per student for 5 days a week and not exceed Rs 2000 per student if the classes are taken on alternate days.

For normal tuition, the fee should not exceed Rs 700 per student for KG to Class 7 and it should not be more than Rs 800 per student for Class 8 and above.

Further, LSU directed that the minimum days for normal tuition should not be less than 5 days in a week and intake of students for normal tuition should not exceed more than 10 Students per Batch/Session.

The Students’ Union said that this is for strict compliance from May 2024 onwards.
