The Lotha Youth Hoho (LYH) has strongly condemned the physical assault on Rhanlamo Kikon Pastor of Yanpha Baptist Church “without any valid reason” by Akhekevi S/o Ahovi of Kiyezhu Village from Naukhuti Town on 24th August 2024 .

In a press release, LYH President Limhathung and General Secretary Oreno Ngullie deplored the incident in the strongest manner and stated that “there is no room for such malicious person in today’s modern era.”

The Lotha Youth Hoho has demanded for befitting strict action against accused and further urged the law enforcement agencies to give exemplary punishment as per the law and deliver justice to the victim at the earliest.

The Yanpha Village Council and the Yanpha Baptist Church have filed an FIR against the Akhekevi, who is said to be a cadre of the NSCN-K (Khango).
