Lotha Youth Hoho to organise public rally in Wokha town on 2nd Sep against pastor’s assault, illegal taxation

Wokha: LYH urges travellers passing through Wokha Town to co-operate and bear inconvenience during public rally

The Lotha Youth Hoho (LYH), under the aegis of Lotha Hoho, will be organizing a public rally on 2nd September 2024 at Wokha Town, Police Point against the “brutal physical assault, attempt to murder of Rhanlamo Kikon, Pastor, Yanpha Baptist Church, unabated illegal taxations, harassments, intimidation and death threat to common people.” LYH has also said that the public rally will also serve as a call for action and a movement against any anti-social elements in all forms and contents.

In this regard, the youth organisation has informed the general public of Wokha Town, ten members each from every Village Council under Wokha District, Wokha Town Colony Council members, Colony Eloe Hoho members, Colony Youth Organization, inter denomination church organization, business community, student’s community under Wokha District to attend the rally positively. The LYH has also appealed all attended to wear traditional attire.

Further, the Lotha Youth Hoho has request travellers passing through Wokha Town to kindly co-operate and bear the inconvenience during the public rally which will commence from 10:00 am onwards.

The Pastor of Yanpha Baptist Church was allegedly assaulted by a cadre of NSCN-K (Khango) at Naukhuti Town under Niuland district.
