Some are mine, written during different phases of my life, shaped by the bond we shared, by grief, by resilience, and by love that has never left me.”
Formally releasing the book, Viketuno Rio, Director of The White Owl remarked that the book speaks of live that hold them together- “family and love, the innocence of young hearts, enduring friendships, quiet strength of a woman who loved fiercely, and lived fully.
She stated that each piece feels alive, honest, heartfelt and deeply human and added that what makes it even more special is that it not only holds Niepusino’s voice but also her mother’s.
Underlining that poetry isn’t just written, but is lived, she hoped that the book would remind readers to listen to the poetry around us, to cherish it, and carry it forward.
