Lürhü Girls’ Hostel Inaugurated by MLA Dr. Neisatuo Mero at Pfutsero

Pfutsero: Dr. Mero extended his gratitude to the Chief Minister of Nagaland for prioritizing Pfutsero Constituency and DIET’s development

According to DIPR, a significant step towards education and community development was marked by the inauguration of the Lürhü Girls’ Hostel at the District Institute of Education & Training (DIET) Pfutsero. The inauguration, graced by MLA Dr. Neisatuo Mero, symbolized a commitment to fostering education and unity among students.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Neisatuo Mero, the MLA, emphasized the significance of unity among students, in line with the name of the hostel. He also stressed the importance of cooperation among the teaching faculty. Drawing from his own experiences as a former hosteller, he encouraged students to forge new friendships and learn valuable lessons from each other. Dr. Mero expressed optimism that together, they will contribute to the growth and development of DIET.

In his speech, Dr. Mero extended his gratitude to the Chief Minister of Nagaland for prioritizing Pfutsero Constituency and DIET’s development. He also appreciated the Advisor of School Education & SCERT for his involvement, as well as the landowners who contributed their land to the government for this development.

Principal of DIET Pfutsero, Atula Wai, delivered the welcome speech, while Zaveta Kotso, Senior Lecturer, proposed the vote of thanks. The program was skillfully chaired by Dr. Aneile P. Duolo, Senior Lecturer.

The inauguration of the Lürhü Girls’ Hostel not only enhances educational facilities but also underscores the value of collaboration and progress in the realm of education and development.
