Manipur emerged as the winner of the 68th National School Games U-19 girls’ Sepak Takraw held at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kohima from November 25-28.
Nagaland came in the 2nd position scoring 2-0 with Maharashtra securing the third position.
Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Advisor School Education graced the valedictory program as the Special Guest. In his speech, Yhome stated that such kind of exchange is important and the friendship they build with each other through this kind of sporting activity forges camaraderie. The Advisor expressed optimism that the players will represent the country someday.

17 teams participated in this year’s tournament. The tournament was hosted and organised by the Department of Youth Resources and Sports (DYRS) in collaboration with the School Games Federation ’f India (SGFI). Additional Director YRS Megolhu Dolie chaired the valedictory program.
