A mass public rally will be held across Eastern Nagaland on April 28 against border fencing and for free movement across the land of Nagas.
In this regard, the Chang Khulei Setshang has issued a directive to all Educational institutions and Business establishment within Tuensang Town and adjoining Chang villages to remain closed on April 28, Monday from 6 am to 6 pm.
All the Ward Presidents, respective Village Council Chairman have been directed to pay keen attention to the call and to ensure proper dissemination.
The following has been exempted:
- District Administration.
- Police Department.
- Para-Military.
- Fire and Emergency services.
- Medic shops.
- Medical emergency services.

The Yimkhiung Tribal Council has also issued a directive informing all educational institutions and business establishments within Shamator Town to remain closed on April 28 from 6:00 am to 6:00 Pm.
“However, the District Administration, Police, Para Military Forces, Fire & Emergency service, Pharmacies, Medical Emergencies shall exempted,” it informed.
