In response to a circular issued by the district administration Kohima,a mass social work was successfully carried out across Jakhama sub-division under Kohima district on April 10.

The initiative, led by SDO (C) Jakhama, aimed at promoting cleanliness and community participation. As per the guidelines, all government offices and staff mandatorily took part in the cleanliness drive. Village councils also mobilised citizens in coordination with various institutions, both public and private, within their respective jurisdictions.

The social work focused on cleaning key areas including village and town surroundings, highways, public roads, and drainage systems.
