In anticipation of the Christmas festive season, Pungro Town conducted a mass social work on November 30, informed the DIPR. Ward leaders and Town GBs led the cleanliness drives, while department heads were directed to beautify offices with Christmas stars.

The social work assigned responsibilities to various groups where ward leaders and colony youths were assigned to decorate landmark locations, while the Chamber of Commerce beautified the BOC junction. Pungro Town Students Union was entrusted for the decorations and beautification at Main Traffic Point to be supported by all government offices in Pungro Town.
