The Chamber further clarified that selling calendars, concert or event tickets, raffle or lottery tickets, buffet coupons, tambola slips, or similar items to traders and business owners is not allowed. Any attempt to pressure the business community into buying such items will be treated as an illegal act.

In view of the upcoming Winter Night Carnival in the town, MCCI urged stall owners, organizers and participants to respect the interests of established business owners in the area. It also stressed the need to maintain cleanliness and adhere to hygienic practices during the event.

Business owners have been reminded to refrain from unethical business practices, and to ensure that parking spaces in front of their establishments remain available for customers, rather than being occupied by their own vehicles.

The advisory also warned against transporting, storing, selling or bursting unregulated firecrackers without prior permission. Members of the business community involved in such activities will be dealt with according to the rules.

MCCI extended festive greetings to the public and encouraged residents and visitors to celebrate responsibly.
