MDVA announces Nagaland State Level Volleyball Referee Exam 2023 to raise officiating standards

Mokokchung: Interested individuals must be at least 25 years old and possess some experience in sport of volleyball

The Mokokchung District Volleyball Association (MDVA) in Nagaland is set to elevate the standards of volleyball refereeing with the upcoming Nagaland State Level Volleyball Referee Exam 2023. Through its press release on Friday, MDVA announced that the exam is scheduled to take place from 12th to 15th September 2023 at the Multi-Sports Complex in Mokokchung.

This event aims to enhance refereeing skills and promote the overall quality of volleyball officiating.

The examination will be conducted under the supervision of two distinguished figures in Indian volleyball, MDVA informed. Dr. Harish Kumar Tiwari, a certified FIVB Level 1 Coach, and Ramesh Babu Vidyarthi, a National Referee of the Volleyball Federation of India (VFI) and All India Referee Examiner, will oversee the proceedings.

The Volleyball Referee Exam is open to all indigenous residents of Nagaland who meet certain criteria. Interested individuals must be at least 25 years old and possess some experience in the sport of volleyball.

On-the-spot registration is scheduled for 12th September 2023, starting from 10:00 am. To register, applicants are required to present their original birth certificate, Pan Card, and Aadhar card. A registration fee of Rs. 3000/- will be applicable to all participants.
