In view of the upcoming Urban Local Body Election 2024 in the District, a meeting was held at DPDB Conference Hall, Kiphire on 30th May 2024 chaired by Temsuwati Longkumer Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire informed DIPR.
D. Robin, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire highlighted some importance of Urban Local Bodies Election (ULB) in the District, such as public safety, public infrastructure works and developmental activities.

The meeting was attended by members of four local bodies, Returning Officer, KTC/PTC/STC, two representative each from USLP/TTC/YTC/ESH, PA to DC and Head Dobashe and Head Goanbura.
