Stressing the importance of early intervention, he noted that mental health affects people across all age groups and called upon students to give priority to their mental well-being.
He further stated that unresolved childhood trauma is frequently the root cause of ongoing mental distress.
Encouraging positive thinking and self-awareness, Dr. Sikukhiumew reminded attendees that while people work hard in life, they often neglect their own mental health. “Health is the greatest wealth,” he said, urging everyone to make mental well-being a priority.
