A fiesta of fashion and music charity event is all set to be held in Kiphire town on 28 January.

The event will take place at Loyola Hr sec School and will feature fashion, music and an exhibition of handicrafts.

The charity event is being organised by Meta Noya in collaboration with Stargazer and Hornbill TV as the media co-partner.

Meta Noya was formed on 19 December 2022 by a group of youngsters who, in their struggle to find opportunities in the fashion industry, came together with a vision to uplift young people in the field of art, music, fashion and designing.

The founding members are Akhumba (best physique winner in Mister North East 2021, Mr & Miss ZoomMax 2022 2nd runner-up); Azila V Sangtam (Miss Kiphire 2022 2nd runner up); Shangsila S Sangtam (Miss Crown Nagaland 2021 1st runner up, Miss India Globe 2022 2nd runner up, Mega Model Hunt 2022 Miss Perfect 10, Mr and Miss Model Hunt Photogenic 2021); and Chingkela T Sangtam (Miss Kiphire 2022).

The group informs that the name Meta Noya is derived from Greek meaning a journey of changing one’s mind, heart, self or way of life. The motto of the group is ‘Accentuate the hand’.

The main objectives of Meta Noya are to bring changes in the fashion industry and to provide a better platform for fashion aspirants. The goal is to pave the way towards opportunities.

With these objectives and goal in mind, the group set about organising the fiesta charity event in which new models, designers and artists can be promoted.

Meta Noya informs that the goals of the charity season involve a mission to visit hospitals and to clean the town areas to give a clear message on the importance of sanitation to the public.

Through the charity event to be held on Saturday, the group says that they would like to make known to society that education means all around development which gives equal importance to music, arts and fashion.
