The Women’s Cell of MGM College celebrated International Women’s Day on March 7 on the theme “Give to Gain.” The programme highlighted the importance of character, faith, and resilience in shaping the lives of young women. The event was chaired by Talinaro, Office Assistant.

Delivering the keynote message on the theme “A Virtuous Woman,” Temjenzungla Aier, Assistant Professor, Department of History shared an inspiring reflection on the true identity and value of women. In her address, she emphasized that a virtuous young girl understands that her worth does not come from outward appearance or social approval, but from her relationship with God and the way she lives her life.

She noted that a virtuous woman is trustworthy and reliable, demonstrating integrity in both words and actions. She further highlighted diligence and responsibility as essential qualities of a virtuous woman.

According to her, a virtuous young girl learns to face challenges with patience and determination, trusting that sincere efforts and faith will lead to growth and success in the long run. She reminded the audience that becoming a virtuous woman is not achieved overnight but is a lifelong journey of growth, learning, and spiritual maturity.
