MGM College marked Teacher’s Day with a grand celebration held in the college auditorium today, honouring the invaluable contributions of its educators. The event was filled with gratitude and admiration for the teachers, recognising their pivotal role in shaping the lives of students.

Dr. R.K. Behera, Acting Principal, delivered a heartfelt speech, reflecting on the significance of Teacher’s Day, a day observed across the country to honour the dedication and sacrifices of teachers. He emphasised that the role of a teacher, though sacrificial, is ultimately rewarding, as their success is seen through the achievements of their students. “Our teachers are the guiding lights who illuminate our paths, not only through academic knowledge but also through life lessons. They inspire us to dream big, work hard, and strive for excellence,” he stated.

Father Giju George, Administrator graced the occasion with his blessings and words of encouragement, offering his deep appreciation for the efforts of the teachers in moulding future generations.

The event was hosted by Yelem from 1st Semester and Wangting from 5th Semester. The highlight of the day was a musical performance by special guests “The 20’s Band,” along with

Puloka K. Ayemi and Niuka Awomi.

The students also showcased their talents and participated enthusiastically in the celebrations. The program concluded with resounding applause as the entire MGM College community came together to express their gratitude and appreciation for the teachers’ unwavering dedication.
