The newly elected members of Pfutsero Town Council unanimously elected Mikha Kenye as the Chairperson and Khazii Dukru as the Deputy Chairperson to lead the Pfutsero Town Council, DIPR has informed. A short programme was held at the ADC’s Conference Hall, Pfutsero, Phek district, which was attended by MLA Dr Neisatuo Mero and Deputy Commissioner, Phek, John Tsulise Sangtam, NCS.
MLA Dr. Neisatuo Mero, in his speech, congratulated the elected councillors and called upon them to co-operate with one another and plan together for the development of the town. He advised the elected members to work hand in hand for the betterment of Pfutsero town.
Dr. Mero also thanked the Deputy Commissioner and Additional Deputy Commissioner and other officials concerned for the successful and peaceful conduct of the ULB election.
The newly elected members of the Pfutsero Town Council are:
- Nuvotsolu Kotso (IND) – Ward 1
- Vekhosa Puro (IND) – Ward 2
- Mikha Kenye (IND) – Ward 3
- Kwazü Dukru (NDPP) – Ward 4
- Vekhosa Ruho (IND) – Ward-5
- Kadielhi Mero (NDPP) – Ward-6
- Thungchanbeni (IND) – Ward-7
- Nuvezo Kotso (NDPP) – Ward-8
- Savizo (IND) – Ward-9
- Kum Wechu-u Kapfo (IND) – Ward 10
- Neikolo Mero (IND) – Ward 11
