A mini–Hornbill Festival has been planned for the delegates of the Business 20 (B20) event which is to be held in Kohima from 4-6 April 2023, Press Information Bureau, Nagaland notified on Wednesday.
The itinerary of the B20 meet in Nagaland’s capital as shared by PIB –
Day 1 – Arrival of delegates, dinner at Capital Cultural Hall and cultural programme
Day 2 – B20 conference followed by B2B and B2G meetings, a mini-Hornbill Festival, an excursion to a WWII museum, a visit to a heritage hamlet, followed by a cultural programme
Day 3 – Trip to the Kohima War Cemetery and the departure of participants from Kohima

The Northeast region of India has been of significant focus for B20 India Initiatives, with four conferences planned across the region to showcase the vast potential and opportunities within the region, the statement said.
The first three conferences were in Imphal, Aizawl, and Gangtok and the fourth and final B20 India event in the northeast will take place in Kohima.

B20 is an official G20 platform for communication with the global business community and is comprised of business associations and leads engagement with G20 governments on behalf of the international business community.
The B20 mobilises the perspectives of global business leaders on global economic and trade governance and offers each rotating presidency with actionable policy recommendations to enhance economic growth and development, it added.
The upcoming event at Kohima will follow the theme of Opportunities for Multilateral Business Partnerships in Agriculture and Food Processing, Tourism and Information Technology. Along with discussions and plenary sessions, there will be B2B and B2G meetings.
The state government will showcase the key activities and developments in these sectors, while emphasizing investment opportunities in the same.
