Minister Imna Along urges non-accredited colleges in Nagaland to get NAAC accreditation

Kohima: Handholding Programme on New Accreditation Framework for Principals & IQAC Coordinators of Non-Accredited Colleges was held on Tuesday

Temjen Imna Along, Minister Higher Education & Tourism, Nagaland has urged all non-accredited colleges to get accreditation from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and provide quality education so that students not only from the state, but mainland India can also come and avail education from the state, DIPR informed.

Attending the Handholding Programme on New Accreditation Framework for Principals & IQAC Coordinators of Non-Accredited Colleges was held on Tuesday at the conference hall of the Directorate of Higher Education, he said Government colleges take time while Private colleges have advantages as they quickly make decisions for the welfare of the colleges.

The Minister urged all the government and private colleges to complement each other to develop the colleges by sharing their best views and ideas.
