Minister Kruse condemns attack on Lt. Miasalhou, urge law enforcement agencies to ensure justice

Kohima: This deplorable act of violence has robbed our community of a respected leader, says Kruse

Salhoutuonuo Kruse, Minister for Women Resource Development & Horticulture, and MLA from Western Angami Assembly Constituency, has expressed her sadness and anguish on the “senseless attack” on late Kezhalelie Lawrence Miasalhou, President of the Mezomia Mechü Kehou who was also the PA to the Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, and his son, Thejavizo B. Miasalhou on the evening of 18th May 2024 in Kohima.

Kruse vehemently condemned the “criminal actions of the perpetrators who have committed this heinous crime in grave violation of the law” and “robbed our community of a respected leader.”

The Minister urged the law enforcement agencies to immediately investigate this matter and ensure that the culprits are brought to justice without delay.

Further, Kruse extended her deepest sympathy to the family of the deceased. “I pray that the Almighty grants them the strength to cope with this unimaginable loss,” she added.
