After a hiatus of seven years, the Miss Wokha beauty pageant made a dazzling comeback at the Public Ground, Wokha, on November 1. Organised by Glamours Event Management in collaboration with the Lotha Eloe Hoho, the much-anticipated event drew a large and enthusiastic crowd.

The contest witnessed an impressive line-up of participants who showcased poise, confidence, and elegance on stage. Contestant No. 2, Grace Kikon, emerged as the winner and was crowned Miss Wokha 2025, while Yisanbeni Tsanglao (Contestant No. 10) and Nzanbeni Humtsoe (Contestant No. 7) were adjudged the first and second runners-up respectively.

Gracing the event as the special guest, Er. Ch. R. John Zeliang, Head of Plant, Doyang Hydro Power Station (NEEPCO), described the pageant as a “journey of self-discovery,” noting that every contestant carried her own story of dreams, challenges, and individuality. He emphasised that every woman should embrace both her inner and outer beauty, and encouraged the contestants to cultivate confidence and purpose.
Speaking on the theme “Beauty with Purpose,” Er. Zeliang urged the participants and the public to champion cleanliness, conservation, and positive social transformation. “Do not be a person without opinion or purpose,” he said, calling upon the youth to uphold good values and be voices of change within their communities.
