The Mission Department of Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (SBAK) Nito Mount is all set to celebrate 75 years of Mission History on 9 November at Sumi Baptist Church Zunheboto.

The celebration will be held under the theme ‘Paye Tiqheli la puwu kiu mpeu’ (Master of Mission in all generations) John 5:17.

Rev Hukugha Zhimo, the executive secretary of SBAK Nito Mount, will unveil the jubilee stone at Mission Centre.

In the jubilee celebration programme, Rev Dr Khehovi A Shohe will be the main speaker.

The greetings will be proposed by Y Kikheto Sema, IAS, APC GON while the welcome address will be given by Hokishe Kiba, President SBAK Council.

The jubilee prayer will be pronounced by the mission promoter of Nagaland Mission Movement. The vote of thanks will be proposed by Kiyelu Yepthomi, chairman of the Mission Board.

Vihoto H Awomi, the mission secretary of SBAK Nito Mount, lauded Kikheto Sema, IAS, APC GON, for donating a six-year-old Mithun for the celebration and also for sponsoring the Jubilee Souvenir.

Awomi further expressed his gratitude to Hokali Shohe, wife of Kikheto Sema, for gifting a blanket to every household of Shothu village from where the mithun was procured.

For the construction of the Shothu village church building, Kikheto Sema has consented to give his full support by providing machineries and financial assistance.
