MLA and advisor for Information and Public Relations (IPR) and Soil and Water Conservation, Imkong L Imchen on Saturday graced the Tsungremmung festival celebration at Khensa village.
Speaking on the occasion, Imchen said he was convinced that the Ao tribe is one of God’s chosen tribes among the Nagas. He said by celebrating the festivals, every tribe gets the opportunity to preserve its culture in one way or the other. However, he reminded the community that one should neither forget nor ignore the tenet of the religion and should live a life as God wishes one to live.
