Tseminyu: MLA Seb says Rengma Hoho a shining example of non-partisan organization

MLA and DPDB Chairman Tseminyu Ar. Jwenga Seb has said that the Rengma Hoho is a symbol of hope, progress, and community services which prioritize the upliftment of every member of the community, ensuring equal access to education, healthcare, infrastructure, and employment opportunities.

He made this remark during the Rengma Hoho General Session held on 29 June 2023 at Town Hall Tseminyu.

He said that the general session of Rengma Hoho is not only to witness the change of guard in the Rengma Hoho Office but also to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the present team of office bearers with the hope of the incoming teams for greater achievements.

“The Rengma Hoho has always been a shining example of a non-partisan organization that works tirelessly for the upliftment of the community,” the MLA added.

Resource person, Kenilo Apon, IAS Commissioner and Secretary Urban & Municipal Affairs spoke on ‘the village customary practices and the missing links,’ and ‘the assembly election reformation and its impact now and then’ by Dr Joshua Lorin, Principal, Oriental Theological Seminary. Invocation prayer was pronounced by Yhunthonglo Khing, Pastor TTBC and the programme was chaired by Sinhilo Thong Seb.
