Railway Protection Force (RPF) Dimapur conducted mock drill in compliance to direction of HQ on January 25 from 4 p.m. to 5.15 p.m. at Platform No. 1 of Dimapur Railway Station with the participation of RPF, RPSF, GRP, Medical officials, Commercial officials, Operating staff and porters of Railway station Dimapur and SIB, Lumding and Dimapur

The purpose of the mock drill was to reintroduce security gadgets during emergency, establish communication amongst departments and other stakeholders; how to use PA system to minimize panic during emergency, how to deal with fire incidents and how medical team would act and they would be supported to establish camp, whenever necessary.

After the mock drill, ASC Dimapur and IPF Dimapur briefed the participants.
