Mokokchung: 26 Aonglenden A/C NDPP launches CMHIS registration drive

Mokokchung: Seven units under the 26 Aonglenden AC will undergo the registration drive for the beneficiaries with a target of 2,000 in its first phase

There were 117 beneficiaries who registered on the first day.

A registration drive for CMHIS, an initiative of the 26th Aonglenden A/C NDPP, was launched at Community Hall, Marepkong ward on 25 January.

Nungsangmeren Longkumer, president of the 26 Aonglenden Assembly Constituency of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), informed that the seven units under the AC – Dilong ward, Sangtemla ward, Arkong ward, Merepkong ward, Ungma village, Kubza village and Settsü village – will undergo the registration drive for the beneficiaries with a target of 2,000 in its first phase.

Longkumer said not many people can afford the medical expenses and acknowledged the scheme. “Since free health care policies aim to reduce the financial barriers that people may experience when trying to access health services, this initiative was taken into consideration by the office for the Citizens of 26 Aonglenden AC to provide accessibility of the existing facilities.”

Some of the CMHIS beneficiaries along with operators and officials of NDPP 26 Aonglenden A/C at Marepkong Community Hall on 25 January.

Altogether, 117 beneficiaries registered on the first day. The next registration drive was conducted in Kubza village and Settsü village on 26 January.

The operators were Sunep (Marepkong), Ali (Aolijen), Imti (Ungma), Lensa (Ungma),

Tatu (Ungma) and Wapang (Town).
